about
In the midst of a falling out with an old friend, I wrote what some consider to be my best EP. "Chronicles of a Golden Sparrow," was originally uploaded in 2014, and while I'm mostly happy with the EP, I still hear the glaring production issues that come along with being inexperienced.
I'm including this song because it's one of two that I'm still in love with, and it's the one with the least amount of technical boo boos.
Enjoy!
lyrics
I see what's going on
You don't think I see what's going on
But I know where you've been
And I know every sin
And you're driving me to my breaking point.
I see what's going on
You don't think I see what's going on
I'm so mad I could cry
I'm so sad I could die
And you're driving me to my breaking point.
And it's all over
With one misled act of kindness
Love makes you do crazy things
That's something I wouldn't know much about
But so I'm told
You must be so deep in love
That you would just throw me away
And you don't care.
You don't care.
I feel what's going on
Do you feel what's going on, too?
You left me for dead
And after all that was said
You're driving me to my breaking point.
And it's all over
With one misled act of kindness
Love makes you do crazy things
That's something I wouldn't know much about
But so I'm told
You must be so deep in love
That you would just throw me away
And you don't care..
I tried so hard
To apologize
I don't know why I
Deserve these knives
In my back
It's perspective you lack.
If you're not going to hear me out
I won't sit here while you pout
Please remove yourself from my life
I don't need this strife.
But it's all over
With one misled act of kindness.
Love makes you do crazy things
That's something I wouldn't know much about
But so I'm told
You must be so deep in love
That you would just throw me away
But you're in love.
Makes you do crazy things
That's something I wouldn't know much about
But so I'm told
You must be so deep in love
That you would just throw me away
Is that fair?
