Originally recorded in Shelbyville, TN in 1988, my parents wrote this song before I was even born. It's always been one of my favorites, however, and I've always wanted to redo it. When I got Mom to agree to re-record the vocals, I was ecstatic! One thing led to another and here we are! The 2019 version of The Veil was born.
